Cooking With Cricut Challenge

Good Morning! It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another challenge over at Cooking With Cricut! This week we were asked to create a project for a child's birthday using a cake, cupcakes, OR balloons. I'm of the firm belief that you can never have too many birthday cards on hand, so...

I have two outer space lovers in my house right now (without counting ME!), and they both LOVE this card. :)

Recipe:
5 x 5 Easel card
Everyday Paper Dolls: Astronaut, moon rocks
Boys Will Be Boys: alien, flying saucer
Create a Critter: balloons
Sentiment: my computer
Paper: Recollections
PKS faces: Everyday Paper Doll, Monster Mash Faces
Twine: scraps
Star stamp: I have no idea - I found it in a set that has lost its packaging
Other: white gel pen, pearl stickers

What a fun (and practical!) challenge! I hope you'll join us this week over at CWC; remember to use a Cricut cut on your project and let your imagination do the rest. ;)

Thanks for stopping by and having a wonderful day. :)

  5. Ooooh, this is so striking! :o) I love that you used a black background to really let the scene pop. And that scene is all things fabulous. You probably know I adore easel cards and this is no exception.. I LOVE the moon rocks as holder-thingies! I think every balloon should have a twine string, so I am delighted to stare at that perfect element... and just look how happy our astronaut and sweet monster are!

And THEN.. you know I love the UFO'S PEARLS! AHH! I love that you used them as decor there. Marvelous. Even UFO's like to get dolled up for a party, right? And I truly love that you made the base of the main card a rounded moon shape. So wonderful. Fantastic work as always, my friend. I'm not surprised Abi and Luke love this. :o)

    Hugs and blessings!
